Pizza Bites

This keto-approved food is the perfect snack for children and adults! If you are living the keto lifestyle, you are probably like me and are missing PIZZA! Instead of making a full keto pizza, I decided to try something new, which led me to these pizza bites. Grab your kids and let's get cooking!

  • Preheat your oven. Turn on your oven (on bake) to 400 degrees. Take out your backing sheet(s) and place a sheet of parchment paper on top of it.

  • Collect ingredients. This recipe is only 3 ingredients; cheese, pizza sauce, and pepperoni. Cooking Tip: For cheese I use shredded mozzarella cheese. I have used parmesan before, but just remember that the taste of the two cheeses are very different.

  • Layer your pizza bite. Make cheese piles on the parchment paper and then flatten for consistency. Then put a small about of pizza sauce on top of each pile and then top it off with a pepperoni. Cooking Tip: Since pepperoni is greasy, place your pepperoni's on a plate and microwave for 30 seconds. After you take the plate out of the microwave, blot the pepperoni's with a paper towel.

  • Cook your pizza bites. Place your cookie sheet in the oven and cook for 4-7 minutes. I like the cheese to get a little brown, so I keep them in there towards the 6-7 minute mark.

Once your pizza bites are done, let them cool for a couple minutes and then serve. My kids love to fold the pizza bites like a taco. Enjoy!

Cook Time: 4-7 minutes

Serving Size: As many as you can fit on a cookie sheet!


Ingredients:

mozzarella cheese

pizza sauce of choice (we use organic)

pepperoni (can substitute for turkey pepperoni)
