Crustless Taco Pie

Those that are living the keto lifestyle MUST try this crustless taco pie! I made it for the first time tonight and because it was such a hit at the house, I had to post it immediately. If you are looking for a meal that takes very little time to prep, then you have to try this recipe. Grab your frying pan and let's get cooking!

  • Preheat your oven. Turn your oven (on bake) to 350 degrees. Take out a 9" pie plate and grease it with butter. Tonight I used avocado oil spray.

  • Collect ingredients. Brown your hamburger. Once the grease is strained out, add your taco seasoning and water (specified on package) and mix together.

  • Mix ingredients. In a medium bowl, mix the eggs and heavy cream together. Next add in the salsa, cheese, and salt. Lastly, add the meat mixture to the medium bowl. Mix all together.

  • Cook your taco pie. Pour the mixture in the pie plate and place your pie in the oven and cook for 40-50 minutes. Cooking Tip: Cooking time may vary depending on your oven. My oven is gas and it took roughly 45 minutes.

The taco pie will be golden brown on the top when it's done cooking. Let your pie cool for 5 minutes before serving. Add toppings such as sour cream, salsa, and lettuce, Enjoy!

Ingredients:

1lb hamburger (organic, grass fed)

1 pkg of taco seasoning (no msg)

4 eggs

2/3 cup heavy whipping cream (organic)

1/4 cup salsa

1 cup shredded mild cheddar cheese

1/2 teaspoon sea salt
