Fathead Pizza

Updated: Jan 29, 2021

Doesn't this pizza look amazing?!?! I promise you it is and you can barely tell that it's missing the doughy crust. I started with a recipe that I found online, but after making it a couple times and changing a few steps, I think I've got the recipe down! Let's get cooking!

  • Turn oven on at 425 degrees.

  • Make the crust. First, you need to make your pizza crust and for that, you'll need to make the fathead dough. In addition to the ingredients for making that dough, add in some Italian seasoning and garlic powder to give it some flavor. Knead your dough into a ball and place it between two pieces of parchment paper. Roll the dough into a thin round layer with a rolling pin. Remove the top layer of the parchment paper and put the other (with the crust) on a baking pan. Place in the oven for 10 minutes.

  • Add toppings. Remove the crust from the oven and place it on pot holders. Add your pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings. Lastly, brush some melted butter around the edge. This will make it crispy so it's easier to hold when eating.

  • Cook the pizza. Place the pizza in the oven for another 5-10 minutes. I tend to cook it for about 10 minutes because I like the cheese a little brown on the top. When done cooking, remove the pizza from the oven, let it sit for a couple minutes, and then cut your pizza.

Serve warm and enjoy!
